League of Legends legend Jian Zìháo, widely known by his in-game name Uzi, will be inducted into the Hall of Legends in 2025, becoming only the second member alongside Korean superstar Faker.
The Hall of Legends, founded in 2024, honours the most outstanding esports competitors in the history of Riot Games’ flagship title.
As part of its role as official automotive partner to Riot Games since 2020, Mercedes-Benz has produced an official “Winner Film” to mark Uzi’s achievement.
In a further tribute, the marque has presented him with a bespoke G 580 electric G-Class, crafted through its in-house Manufaktur customisation programme.
The vehicle is the first electric G-Class in China and features a matt Kalahari gold magno finish inspired by the Hall of Legends’ palette. Interior appointments include hand-engraved ‘Hall of Legends’ lettering and a selection of exclusive trim options, all executed to the highest Manufaktur standards.
Uzi’s new G-Class combines Mercedes-Benz’s signature off-road capability with its advanced EQ electric powertrain. The model, designated G 580 with EQ Technology, delivers the performance and luxury expected from the G-Class family while offering zero-emission driving.
In addition to the vehicle, Mercedes-Benz commissioned a bespoke artwork in collaboration with a leading design studio. The piece depicts Uzi standing beside his electric G-Class against the backdrop of Shanghai, embedding subtle “Easter eggs” that reference key moments in his career and personal life.
“Legends are not only recognised by their achievements, but also by the impact they leave behind,” said Bettina Fetzer, Vice President of Digital & Communication at Mercedes-Benz AG. “It is an honour to celebrate Uzi’s induction into the Hall of Legends with a very special vehicle, which shall be a steady companion as he moves forward on his individual path.”
Mercedes-Benz has supported all global League of Legends Esports events since 2020, including the Mid-Season Invitational and World Championship.
