Aion has teamed up with CRG Diagnostics to strengthen its UK aftersales support, aiming to reduce repair delays and get its electric vehicles back on the road sooner.
Under the agreement, CRG Diagnostics will provide manufacturer-level diagnostics, component coding and programming, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) calibration, and pre- and post-repair scans.
The services will support accident repair centres, replacement glass specialists and fleet operators, ensuring vehicles are properly diagnosed and calibrated following repairs.
The partnership complements Aion’s existing UK parts distribution centre, which offers nationwide next-day delivery, and repair procedures developed with Thatcham Research.
These procedures are available through Thatcham’s e-Scribe platform.
Aion UK aftersales director Ben Hurford said the arrangements were designed to eliminate unnecessary repair delays while improving support for workshops and customers.
The move comes as the Chinese carmaker expands its UK presence, with the Aion UT electric hatchback recently joining the Aion V SUV.
Both models come with Aion’s Great 8 Promise, covering eight years of vehicle warranty, servicing and roadside assistance, along with MOT testing until the vehicle reaches eight years old.
The benefits are transferable to subsequent owners.
