Voyah is preparing a sportier addition to its new-energy line-up, and this one looks aimed at buyers who want a flashier coupe SUV rather than another upright family box.
The Dongfeng-backed brand has released teaser images of its first coupe SUV, currently known by its internal codename FE.
According to ITHome, the new model is due for a mid-2026 launch in China and its camouflage carries “896” and “four-lidar” markings, pointing to Huawei’s Qiankun 896-line four-lidar hardware and Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 assisted-driving system.
The FE has a low, swept-back stance, with a long bonnet, coupe-style roofline and a more aggressive front end than Voyah’s current utility-focused models.
Voyah is not being subtle about the aero work either. The teaser details include 10 through-flow air ducts, 18 vents and dual active grille shutters, while the bonnet and front wings use additional vents to manage airflow.
Voyah is also giving the FE a performance-lite flavour. The car is shown with 21-inch wheels, sport brake calipers and a large rear wing.
Inside, it is expected to feature paddle-style controls on the steering wheel, a “supercar mode” display for the instrument cluster and AR head-up display, plus a simulated backfire sound effect when the driver lifts off during acceleration.
The sensor package is where Voyah appears to be pushing hardest. Reports list 32 perception units, comprising four lidars, three front 4D millimetre-wave radars, two rear radars, 11 HD cameras and 12 parking sensors. The system is claimed to detect a 14cm obstacle from 120m away.
For now, Voyah has not released battery, motor, range or pricing details.
