After the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV was announced with a new Emerald Green finish two weeks ago, Proton’s smaller e.MAS 5 now gets its own lighter shade of green.

The new colour is called Jade Green, and it makes its public debut at the Penang Autoshow 2026, where Pro-NET is displaying the e.MAS 5 alongside the e.MAS 7 and e.MAS 7 PHEV.

The show runs from May 1 to 3 at the Penang Waterfront Convention Centre, with test drives available for the e.MAS line-up.

Jade Green joins the e.MAS 5’s existing colour range of five colours, giving the compact electric hatchback a softer, fresher look without changing its mechanical package. The new shade is only offered with the Flint Grey cabin theme.

Pro-NET said more than 8,000 units of the e.MAS 5 have been delivered so far in 2026, making it one of the stronger-performing EVs in Malaysia’s still-young electric car market.
