Kia Corporation is partnering with Disney to bring character-themed experiences into Kia models fitted with the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) infotainment system.
The collaboration will roll out themed visuals inspired by Disney, Pixar, Marvel, National Geographic and Star Wars, turning screens and graphics from start-up to arrival into familiar worlds drawn from titles such as The Lion King, Toy Story, The Avengers and The Mandalorian.
Senior Vice President and Head of Kia’s Global Brand & CX Division Charles Ryu said the project uses digital and over-the-air capabilities to let owners personalise not just the look but the “personality” of their cars, adding that Kia aims to be the industry’s most approachable mobility brand through design and smart technology.
The first wave includes themes based on Marvel’s Avengers, Disney’s Mickey & Friends and Pixar’s Toy Story. Around 30 themes are scheduled by 2026.
Access will be via a dedicated Disney section in the Kia Connect store, with a curated promotion page (only available in Europe and South Korea) offering related events and campaigns.
Kia said the graphics would be integrated across the ccNC interface to create small moments of joy and nostalgia for drivers and passengers of all ages, offering a new way to enjoy artwork of favourite characters during everyday journeys.
