Kia has introduced the EV4, a fully electric model available in both sedan and hatchback versions.
The unveiling comes ahead of the brand’s second Kia EV Day, set to take place on Feb 24 in Tarragona, Spain.
Designed to broaden Kia’s EV appeal, the EV4 incorporates a modern aesthetic and advanced technologies to attract lifestyle-focused buyers.
Karim Habib, Executive Vice President and Head of Kia Global Design, described the model as a fresh approach to electric vehicle design, offering both practicality and contemporary styling.
The EV4 made its first appearance in concept form at Kia’s inaugural EV Day near Seoul in 2023.
The EV4 follows Kia’s “Opposites United” design philosophy, blending sharp lines with technical detailing to create a distinct presence.
The sedan variant features a sleek, low front end and an extended rear silhouette, while the hatchback is built for versatility with a compact yet robust profile.
Both models share Kia’s EV Tiger Face front-end design, vertically aligned headlights, and Star Map lighting signature, contributing to a wide and sporty stance.
A GT-Line variant will also be available, featuring sportier design elements such as wing-shaped bumpers and unique 19-inch wheels with a triangular motif.
Kia will reveal the full design and specifications of the EV4 on Feb 27, with an official video release on the company’s YouTube channel in March.
