Zeekr Malaysia has opened bookings for two new flagship models at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show 2026 (KLIMS 2026), with the Zeekr 009 Grand and Zeekr 9X taking the brand into a much higher price band.
The Zeekr 009 Grand starts from RM600,000, while the Zeekr 9X starts from RM800,000. Prices are estimated as both models are only being previewed at the auto show, which runs from June 12 to 21 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (Mitec).
The 009 Grand is a four-seat ultra-luxury electric multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), aimed at buyers who want the rear cabin to feel closer to a private lounge than a family carrier.
The equipment list is impressive enough. Rear passengers get executive seats with hot-stone therapy and 20-point massage, a 43-inch MiniLED display and a 31-speaker surround sound system. There is also an 18-litre fridge, natural marble trim from the Himalayas and crystal-style switchgear.

Privacy gets the same treatment. Zeekr has fitted dimming glass for the sliding doors and rear quarter windows, a driver-passenger smart curtain partition and password-protected dual electronic safes.
Outside, the 009 Grand gets 20-inch floating forged wheels and a gloss-black front grille under the Dark Badge look.
The Zeekr 9X is a different animal. The six-seater is a large luxury sport utility vehicle (SUV) using Zeekr’s SEA Super Hybrid system, so it is a plug-in hybrid.
Zeekr said the 9X is built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture-S platform, with a 900-volt electrical architecture and up to 1,030kW of output.
The 9X is claimed to do 0–100kph in 3.1 seconds, with a combined range of 1,250km on the CLTC standard (1,000km WLTP estimate). Zeekr also quotes a 20% to 80% charging time of 8.5 minutes.
The chassis tech is suitably heavy-duty.
The 9X gets an artificial intelligence-linked digital chassis, air suspension, active roll control and smart drive modes. Inside, it has a three-row cabin with Cloud Lounge seats, a 17-inch 3K OLED screen and a 3,800W Naim audio system.
Zeekr Malaysia also used KLIMS to underline its growth since entering the market in December 2024.
The company said it has recorded more than 4,000 cumulative sales, based on Road Transport Department (JPJ) registration data as of May 2026. Zeekr Malaysia also claimed it is now the No. 1 premium electric vehicle brand in the country.
Eddy Lu, general manager of Zeekr Intelligent Technology Malaysia, said the brand’s growth in less than two years reflected customer support, adding that Zeekr’s focus was on vehicles and a fuller premium ownership experience.
That ownership push now includes network expansion and charging.
Zeekr Malaysia currently has eight outlets across the Klang Valley, Melaka, Penang, Johor and Ipoh. It plans to grow this to 18 outlets nationwide by the end of 2026, including Sabah and Sarawak. It is also targeting 12 service centres.
Charging is the other part of the plan.
Zeekr Power will begin with a flagship station at XPark Sunway Serene offering up to 480kW direct current charging.
Zeekr Malaysia has also signed a memorandum of understanding with DC Handal for seven charging stations in the first phase, mainly along the North-South Expressway and at Sunway Pyramid. The longer target is 20 Zeekr Power stations nationwide over three years.
The 009 Grand and 9X are unlikely to be volume sellers. They are expensive, image-heavy machines. But they do make Zeekr’s Malaysian plan clearer: the brand wants to sit at the premium end of the electric and electrified market, then support that with showrooms, service centres and its own charging footprint.
