Lotus Cars Malaysia has updated its entry 600-series electric duo here, adding more standard equipment to the Eletre 600 and Emeya 600 while largely keeping the broader mechanical package intact.

The Eletre 600 stays at RM499,000, while the Emeya 600 is now RM30,000 more at RM489,000, both prices on-the-road without insurance and before options.

Equipment has expanded. Both cars now get items that previously sat higher up the range, including Jasper Nappa leather upholstery, dark tri-colour seatbelts, configurable ambient lighting and an active rear spoiler.

Lotus is also offering larger wheel packages, 22-inch items for the Eletre and 21-inch sets for the Emeya, paired with Pirelli P Zero tyres and six-piston front brake calipers in either black or red.

Shared kit continues to include adaptive air suspension with continuous damping control, a 15-speaker KEF audio system, four-zone climate control, matrix LED headlamps and a 29-inch head-up display.

Lotus distributor Karrus Automotive Group said more than 300 Eletre and Emeya units have already been delivered in Malaysia, suggesting the pair are no longer niche curiosities but a small, visible part of the local premium EV scene.

Under the skin, there is no major change to the Eletre 600. It retains its dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup with 450kW, does 0-100kph in 4.5 seconds, and uses a 112kWh battery for up to 580km of WLTP range. DC charging remains rated at up to 350kW, with a claimed 10-80% top-up in 20 minutes.

For the Emeya 600, its two motors push out 444kW, with 0-100kph sprint in 4.15s. It uses the same 112kWh battery as the Eletre 600, which is good for 580km (WLTP) range.  A 350kW DC charging enables the battery to be charged from 10-80% said in 15 minutes.

The Emeya 600 price is worth clarifying. Although now RM30,000 higher than the RM459,000 figure attached to last year’s revised line-up, it is still well below its earlier RM555,000 launch price.

Lotus said upgraded SE and Sport variants are due later.
