Alpine has confirmed UK pricing for the new A390, a five-seat electric “sport fastback” that opens at £61,390 (about RM335,200) when order books go live in early 2026, with first customer deliveries scheduled for spring.

The A390 is Alpine’s second model in its all-electric line-up after the smaller A290, and it is positioned as a step into a more family-friendly format without dropping the brand’s performance brief.

Alpine is pitching it as a car that can still feel playful, but also do daily duties, helped by a 532-litre boot.

Three variants are confirmed for launch: GT, Premiere Edition and GTS.

Pricing is set at £61,390 (RM335,200) for the GT, £65,390 (RM357,000) for the Premiere Edition, and £69,390 (RM378,900) for the GTS.

The A390 GT produces 400PS and 661Nm, with a claimed 0–100kph time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 200kph.

Above it sits the A390 GTS, uprated to 470PS and up to 824Nm, cutting the 0–100kph sprint to 3.9 seconds and lifting top speed to 219kph.

Between them is a Premiere Edition, based on the GT and limited to 390 units.

All versions use an 89kWh battery. Alpine quotes up to 555km WLTP range for the GT and Premiere Edition (subject to final homologation), while the higher-output GTS is rated at 502km WLTP.

Alpine cites DC charging of up to 190kW, with 15–80% in around 25 minutes. An 11kW AC bidirectional charger is standard across the range, while a 22kW AC unit is available and fitted as standard on the Premiere Edition.

On the handling side, Alpine is making a big deal of its Active Torque Vectoring set-up, enabled by two independent rear motors that can apportion torque left-to-right.

The company said the A390’s behaviour is benchmarked against the lighter A110 to keep the focus on driver feel.
