Xiaomi has rolled out the new SU7 in China from 219,900 yuan (RM126,000), with the company’s own website presenting it as the next-generation SU7 rather than a mild yearly refresh.
Xiaomi said the update covers chassis hardware, assisted-driving equipment, comfort and cabin tech.
According to CarNewsChina, the line-up opens with the SU7 Standard at 219,900 yuan, followed by the SU7 Pro at 249,900 yuan (RM143,000) and the SU7 Max at 303,900 yuan (RM174,000).
The same report listed their CLTC ranges at 720km, 902km and 835km respectively. CarNewsChina also said Standard and Pro use a 235kW motor, while Max rises to 508kW, equal to roughly 680hp.
The biggest change is in the hardware. The company said the SU7 now gets a “Dragon Chassis”, while Pro and Max versions add closed dual-chamber air springs and CDC variable damping dampers.
The Dragon Chassis benefits the SU7 in three main areas: ride comfort, body control, and stability under load.
Xiaomi described it as an intelligent chassis system that combines upgraded hardware with professional tuning and deeper software-hardware integration, with the aim of making the car feel more precise, stable and safe in everyday driving.
Xiaomi also said maximum range reaches 902km CLTC, depending on variant, and that the full line-up now uses 265mm rear tyres.
Xiaomi is also putting more focus on assisted driving. It said all variants now come with LiDAR, 4D millimetre-wave radar and 700 TOPS of computing power for Xiaomi HAD. Peak voltage is listed at 752V for Standard and Pro, and 897V for Max.
Xiaomi has not merely tidied up the SU7. It has given the car a more serious mechanical and hardware upgrade, while keeping the entry price relatively competitive by Chinese EV standards.
