Proton and SG Cars Sdn Bhd have opened the first e.MAS dealership, located at the Ideal Convention Centre in Shah Alam.
Pro-NET said it strives to provide premium, all-electric experiences for customers. “We aim to make these dealerships hubs of education and inspiration, showcasing next-generation EV technology,” said Pro-NET CEO Zhang Qiang.
Proton e.MAS dealerships will adopt enhanced operating procedures to improve sales and after-sales services. Sales assistants will receive specialised training to guide first-time EV owners on vehicle care and usage.
Pro-NET has appointed 37 dealers nationwide, with 30 expected to be operational by the end of 2024. A recent visit to the Geely Research Institute in Hangzhou, China, enabled dealers to explore advanced EV technologies and gain insights into customer care and operational strategies.
The dealership was launched in a ceremony attended by Selangor state legislative assembly speaker Tuan Lau Weng San, Proton Deputy CEO Roslan Abdullah, Zhang Qiang, and SG Cars dealer owner Datuk Andrew Quek.
Proton’s first electric car is the e.MAS 7, which was launched on Dec 16.
