Kia Sales Malaysia has appointed Cycle & Carriage as its latest authorised dealer partner, giving the Korean brand a stronger retail and aftersales platform as it rebuilds its presence in Malaysia.
The move brings Kia together with one of the country’s oldest automotive retail names.
Cycle & Carriage has a history of more than 125 years in Malaysia, and Kia Sales Malaysia CEO Hyung Ho Kim said the appointment supports Kia’s plan to widen its retail footprint and improve the customer experience nationwide.
Cycle & Carriage Malaysia CEO Adrian Short said Kia was a strong addition to the company’s portfolio, adding that C&C would use its sales, aftersales and service experience to grow the brand’s reach in Malaysia.
The announcement comes as Kia steps up owner support. It is organising its first-ever Kia Malaysia’s Ownership Experience event at Kia Glenmarie, which runs until May 17, giving owners access to aftersales support, technical inspections and assistance for older Kia models, including cars as old as the Sephia.
A Family Day segment is being held from May 15 to 17.
The Kia Glenmarie outlet is operated by Cycle & Carriage, and will officially start operations on June 1.
