Chery has released the first official interior images of the Tiggo X concept, showing a large SUV cabin with three front screens, a passenger-side drawer and several China-inspired design details.
The Tiggo X, introduced at the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, is positioned in China as a large “C-class” luxury smart flagship SUV. That “C-class” wording means it’s actually bigger than European C-segment sizing. It measures about 5.05 metres long and ride on a 2.95-metre wheelbase.
Inside, the Tiggo X follows the broad layout of the Tiggo 9L, but with a more decorative treatment. The dashboard carries a digital instrument display, a central infotainment screen and a separate passenger display, giving the front cabin a three-screen layout.
The oddest cabin detail sits ahead of the front passenger, where Chery has replaced the usual glovebox with a drawer-style storage unit divided into sections.
The seats and speaker grilles also carry patterns inspired by Chinese landscape imagery, while the centre armrest area gets a crystal-style rotary controller.
The rear cabin is set up for comfort, with a large entertainment screen and folding tables.
Autohome said the visible second-row headrests suggest a 2+3+2 seven-seat layout, although Chery has yet to provide a full seating specification.
The exterior shown in Beijing has a boxy, upright shape, with orange-gold detailing on the wheels and brake calipers, meant apparently to symbolise sunrise light on glazed material.
Chery is also preparing petrol and hybrid drivetrains for the Tiggo X. The petrol version is expected to use the company’s Kunpeng 2.0T engine with a new-generation 8AT gearbox, while hybrid versions are expected to offer either 1.5T or 2.0T hybrid engines with Snow Leopard four-wheel drive.
Chery will also use a self-developed AI chip, Falcon 700 driver assistance, AI intelligent chassis and magnetorheological suspension among the concept’s planned technologies.
As with most concept cars, final production kit will change.
