Cycle & Carriage has opened its new Leapmotor Glenmarie outlet in Shah Alam, giving the Chinese EV brand its first full-fledged 3S centre in the Klang Valley and adding another physical touchpoint for buyers who still want a proper showroom-and-workshop setup behind the sales pitch.
It is Cycle & Carriage’s second Leapmotor outlet in the Klang Valley and its fourth nationwide.
The Glenmarie facility brings sales, service and spare parts together under one roof, which is really the main point here.
For an EV brand still building confidence in Malaysia, that sort of all-in-one presence can count for quite a bit, especially for buyers who are more comfortable knowing aftersales support is already in place before they sign anything.
The site sits on 22,497 sq ft with a 14,120 sq ft built-up area. The showroom can display up to seven vehicles, while the service side includes five workbays, a car wash area, a detailing room and a warehouse for parts storage.
Customers also get 18 parking bays, with provisions for two AC chargers and one DC fast charger.
Inside, Cycle & Carriage said the outlet follows Leapmotor’s latest corporate identity. That means a more polished retail setting, with a customer lounge, mezzanine space, private discussion rooms and a dedicated delivery room for handovers.
A team of 10 sales consultants and trained aftersales staff supports the operation.
Cycle & Carriage CEO Adrian Short said the opening built on its earlier Bukit Jalil showroom launch and was meant to strengthen buyer confidence in the brand.
Stellantis Asean managing director Isaac Yeo said the Glenmarie site marked another step in building a smoother ownership experience.
Cycle & Carriage also said more Leapmotor expansion is in the pipeline, including a Johor Baru 3S centre plus additional 1S outlets in Petaling Jaya and Penang mainland. The Glenmarie showroom operates from 8am to 6pm Mondays to Saturdays, and 11am to 5pm on Sundays and public holidays.
