Lexus says it will add a new special-edition model to its dedicated battery-electric RZ line-up, with the RZ 600e “F SPORT Performance” due to reach dealerships nationwide on March 2, 2026.
The company positioned the car as the next step on from the RZ 550e “F SPORT”, and tied it to the brand’s “Always On” approach to driver engagement.
Key changes centred on aero add-ons and higher output, plus hardware to support the extra pace.
Lexus said overall vehicle height drops by 20mm versus the base RZ 550e “F SPORT” to reduce drag and improve stability across a wider range of speeds.
System output is quoted at 313kW, while steer-by-wire is paired with what Lexus calls “Interactive Manual Drive” to sharpen driver input.
A larger braking package is part of the update. Lexus specified 20-inch brake rotors and said the brake calibration is tuned for more precise control during sporty driving.
On specifications, Lexus listed a 76.96kWh battery, a 525km cruising range on Japan’s WLTC test cycle, and energy consumption of 159Wh per kilometre. Fast-charging is listed as CHAdeMO. The company also quoted 0–100kph in 4.4 seconds and a kerb weight of 2,140kg.
The model wears a two-tone theme, offered in Black with HAKUGIN II (matte clear) or Black with Neutrino Gray, with blue accents used to distinguish the grade.
Inside, Lexus has fitted sport seats using an integrated foam moulding process, aimed at better body support without sacrificing everyday comfort.
Lexus also recapped the RZ’s recent run, from the RZ 450e AWD launch in March 2023 to the later RZ 300e front-driver, and a limited-run RZ 450e “F SPORT Performance” introduced in January 2024.
