GWM Malaysia says the Ora 07 electric vehicle (EV) is now open for bookings.
The announcement follows the launch of rival BYD’s Seal last month.
The Ora 07 features a sporty design, intelligent LED headlamps, frameless windows, and a panoramic glass roof.
It boasts premium interior materials, advanced craftsmanship, and numerous convenience features.
Available in Long Range and Performance variants, the former offers a 640km range with a 204PS motor, while the latter provides 550km range, all-wheel drive, and accelerates from 0 to 100kph in 4.3 seconds thanks to its dual motors totaling 408PS.
Safety features include a robust body structure, lane departure and keeping systems, blind spot monitoring, and more.
The Ora 07 is actually the name used overseas. It is marketed as Ora Lightning Cat in China.
