Zeekr has launched its first hybrid, the 9X, in China from 465,900 yuan (about RM276,000).
A trade-in offer lowers the entry to 455,900 yuan (RM270,000). Deliveries have begun for most variants; one arrives in late November.
The 9X is seen by many as a more accessible version of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan.
The Geely-owned company reported 10,000 orders in 13 minutes and roughly 80,000 pre-orders since August.
The 9X is a six-seat, full-size plug-in hybrid, measuring 5,239 mm long with a 3,169 mm wheelbase.
The SUV uses air suspension with adaptive damping and has up to 288 mm ground clearance.
A 48-volt active anti-roll system is optional. Exterior cues include C-shaped headlights, an active grille and 22-inch wheels, with up to five LiDAR units available.
Inside, the 2+2+2 layout adds rotating second-row seats, fold-out tables on selected trims, privacy shades and 22-point massage for the first two rows on higher variants.
Screen options include twin 16-inch fronts (or a single 16-inch), a 47-inch AR head-up display and a 17-inch roof display for rear passengers.
Zeekr cites a reinforced body that it says cleared a four-way 105 kph crash test, plus aids such as crosswind stabilisation and automatic obstacle avoidance.
Power comes from a 2.0-litre petrol engine working with electric motors on the SEA-S hybrid platform.
Two-motor versions are quoted at up to 660 kW (885 hp); the tri-motor flagship at 1,030 kW (1,381 hp) with a 0–100 kph time of 3.1 seconds.
Batteries are 55 kWh or 70 kWh, with CLTC electric ranges of 300–380 km (about 355 km for the tri-motor).
Claimed combined range is up to 1,250km. Fast charging at up to 6C targets 20–80% in about eight minutes; the engine can also charge the pack from 30–80% in roughly 90 minutes while cruising.
Driver assistance runs on Nvidia Drive Thor-U.
Base models use a single 700-TOPS unit with G-Pilot H7; upper trims add a second processor and G-Pilot H9.
Zeekr labels the suite “L3-ready”, with point-to-point navigation assistance and self-parking pending regulatory clearance.
Four trims — Max, Ultra, Hyper and Obsidian Black — are listed at 465,900 yuan, 485,900 yuan, 559,900 yuan and 599,900 yuan (RM355,000) respectively.
An early-buyer discount of 10,000 yuan applies until Dec 31. Orders require a 20,000 yuan deposit with a brief cooling-off window.
