Honda will introduce the Prelude Limited Edition in Europe this autumn, adding a distinct colour and cabin treatment to the hybrid coupé while retaining its existing e:HEV drivetrain.
The Model Year 2027 version is finished in Premium Crystal Garnet Metallic, complemented by red bumper accents, red Brembo brake calipers and 19-inch black-cut alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin gets a Bordeaux theme with red contrast stitching across the steering wheel, centre console, dashboard, seats and door trim. Red-accented floor mats and an embroidered Prelude logo on the dashboard complete the changes.
The mechanical package is unchanged. The Prelude continues with Honda’s 2.0-litre e:HEV full-hybrid system and Honda S+ Shift, which simulates gear changes through powertrain control rather than using a conventional stepped transmission.
Honda has not announced European pricing for the Limited Edition.
For reference, the regular Prelude starts at £41,595 (about RM224,600) in the UK, rising to £42,295 (about RM228,400) with premium paint.
In Japan, the 2027 Limited Edition is priced at ¥6,306,300 (about RM163,600), compared with ¥6,179,800 (about RM160,300) for the standard model. The Japanese car uses the same Premium Crystal Garnet Metallic exterior and Bordeaux-and-black cabin treatment.
The Japanese figure is not directly comparable with European pricing because taxes, equipment and market positioning differ.
The latest Prelude returned to Europe as a hybrid-only sports coupé, pairing Honda’s e:HEV powertrain with selected suspension and steering hardware derived from the Civic Type R.
