Škoda is giving car owners a new way to personalise their vehicles: download official accessory designs for free and print them at home.
The Czech carmaker has released a growing collection of 3D-printable accessories on Printables.com, covering current and discontinued models.
Developed by Škoda’s innovation, design and engineering teams, the files allow owners with access to a 3D printer to produce practical items without buying conventional accessories.
The selection includes cupholders, storage boxes, cable organisers, phone brackets, coin holders and hooks for USB cables and seat-back pockets.
Many fit into existing storage spaces without requiring modifications to the vehicle.
Škoda’s electric Epiq and Peaq models also get dedicated accessories, including cupholder covers, console organisers and storage inserts.
The Peaq additionally receives a clip-on cupholder for its foldable table, designed to accommodate different cup sizes.
The initiative extends Škoda’s long-running Simply Clever philosophy beyond factory-installed features.
Owners can also adapt downloadable designs to their needs, while community feedback will help Škoda decide which accessories to develop next.
Selected designs are already attracting interest, with the top tether hook emerging as the most popular download so far.
The files are available at printables.com/@skoda.
While downloads are free, owners must provide their own 3D printing equipment and materials or use a printing service.
