Chery’s iCaur brand will introduce the V25 SUV to international audiences on Oct 19, offering both range-extended electric (REEV) and battery-electric (BEV) powertrains.
The model will appear at the 2026 iCaur International User Summit in Wuhu, China, alongside the existing V23 and V27 SUVs.
The V25 has already been unveiled in China, making the upcoming event an international presentation rather than its first public appearance.
The REEV variant will use iCaur’s Golden REEV system, combining petrol and electric propulsion for longer-distance travel. A fully electric version is also planned.
Both powertrain options form part of the V25’s positioning as a vehicle suited to urban driving and outdoor activities.
Chery said the SUV will feature its i-AWD intelligent electric all-wheel-drive system, although detailed drivetrain specifications have not been released.
Styling follows the brand’s boxy design approach, with an upright body, near 1:1 proportions, circular headlights and a wide tyre profile.
The V25 will also offer scope for customisation, including accessories intended for camping, cycling and other recreational activities.
Inside, the emphasis is on flexible cabin space and practicality, with provisions for carrying equipment and accommodating different uses.
Chery has yet to disclose battery capacity, motor output, driving range, charging performance or pricing.
The company has also not confirmed which international markets will receive the V25.
